Thursday,
5th June 2014 Mehli, me and the students of class 3a visited the Romans in
Schwarzenacker, an ancient Roman site in Saarland (55 km west of Mehlingen).
It’s an archaeological museum where you can learn a lot about the Romans, who
settled here almost 2000 years ago.
We could
see how the Romans lived (they even had already underfloor heating!!!), we
learned Roman crafts and we were allowed to make excavations. Of course – we
found ancient objects! We spent a wonderful day.
