24th February – Birds’ Academy

Birds’ Academy is not just a club, it’s a lifestyle! Children aged 8-9 learn about birds while playing and exploring. During the workshops we found out about their behaviour, listened to birds’ voices and learnt interesting facts about our winged friends. Moreover, Birds’ Academy is a series of workshops for children from pre-schools and primary schools from Opole Region.

We also watched the birds in their natural habitat promoting spending free time in an active way on fresh air.

I have a badge of a kingfisher which is the club’s logo, designed by our member Marcelina Fricker in 2012. Some pictures are with the club’s mascot Owlie. I and Owie became true friends, really!
